Despite cold and rainy weather, more than 500 walkers gathered for the 2006 Alamance County CROP Hunger Walk.

Harold Garner, Oak Grove Missionary Baptist, led the Walkers in an opening prayer.

With the help of a few boy scouts, the Police Chief, Fire Chief, a County Commissioner and a City Councilman, the ribbon was cut to start the Walk.
