CROP Hunger Walkers, 15 abreast, strike out on Durham's 4.8 kilometer route in an effort to stomp out hunger.

Coming onto Duke University's East Campus, 3 miles into the CROP Hunger Walk. More than 3,000 walkers came out for Durham's 33rd Annual hunger hike. The organizing team hopes that Durham will raise more than $200,000 for the second year in a row.

As part of the 2007 Durham CROP Hunger Walk, the Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship organized a "Toddler's CROP Hunger Walk," which was held the morning of the larger community Walk. Participants placed their saved pennies in an offering basket for "hungry people." Next year the congregation may invite in toddlers from other congregations to join them.
