BARRINGTON AREA CROP HUNGER WALK BENEFITS LOCAL AGENCIES
 
Representing the 2005 Barrington Area CROP WALK Committee, Konrad Bald presents a check for $6,283 to Shannon Thompson, Promotions Manager for the Northern Illinois Food Bank. The Food Bank is one of six local agencies that share 25% of the funds raised in the annual WALK. The remainder of the funds are distributed by Church World Service in the United States and throughout the world for disaster relief and where hunger exists. The 2006 WALK will be held Sunday, October 15, beginning at Barrington Middle School Station Campus.
