Saturday, October 15, 2006, drew several thousand people from over 20 denominations to the Missouri State Fairgrounds, in Sedalia, Missouri. From all indications it was a record year for gifts for those in need. Usually only one semi-truck is loaded with Church World Service Kits. This year two semi-trucks were loaded to capacity! Pictured is the bustle of activity as rice and beans were sacked, kits were boxed and distributed and beautiful quilts were auctioned.
