CROP Walkers
The Galesburg CROP Hunger Walk was held on a sunny Sunday afternoon, September 24, 2007.  Walkers register at First Presbyterian Church, this year's host church.  This year the Walk raised $15,620, the highest total ever in the Walk's 21-year history!

These Walkers prepare for the CROP Walk by doing stretches together.

All the Walkers gather for a group photo before the Walk.  Good thing First Presbyterian can hold this fabulous group of 180 Walkers and volunteers!

Three local agencies share 25% of the Walk's income: the Galesburg Rescue Mission, Galesburg FISH, and the Salvation Army.  Here, Galesburg FISH food pantry volunteers share information about the services they offer.  Click here to see a thank you to CROP from Galesburg Fish.

Even dogs love to combat hunger by CROP Walking!  Of course they need a refreshing drink, too, after all that walking.

Galesburg CROP Hunger Walk Coordinator Kathy Woodward is joined by representatives from the three area agencies which receive CROP Walk funds.  Each received $1301.68 from the 2007 CROP Walk!
