The Minn-Kota Region of CWS offers a life-size
Tools of Hope Game, available for educational events. Those who are familiar with the CWS resource "We Can Do That, Too!" (ED 0047) will recognize this game as the centerfold piece of the hunger education handbook. Recommended for use with congregations hosting a Tools & Blankets fund raiser, youth groups, women's groups, retreats, Sunday School, Bread for the World chapters, CROP Walks and the like, game participants become the game pieces on this 9'x12' canvass board.
This activity will help participants better understand the cyclical challenges facing the poor and hungry. Through follow-up questions and discussions, participants can be empowered to make a difference in the world by supporting development and relief programs of humanitarian aid organizations like CWS, and speaking out on advocacy issues such as the Jubilee 2000 Campaign, which is working to cancel the backlog of unpayable debt of the poorest nations.

The CWS Tools & Blankets Program and CROP Walks are helping to break the cycle of hunger and build a world that works for all. This activity will help participants better understand the cyclical challenges facing the poor and hungry, and how, by supporting development and relief programs of CWS, you can make a difference in the world.
Duration time: 25-30 minutes, recommended for 4 or more players.
